About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Architect to spearhead significant projects within their dynamic studio in Manchester . This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the creative direction and technical execution of major architectural endeavors, particularly in urban regeneration and commercial developments across the Greater Manchester region. You will mentor a growing team, champion design innovation, and ensure the highest standards of architectural practice are maintained. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the firm's architectural output and contribute to its reputation for excellence and impactful design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design conceptualization and development for large-scale architectural projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable outcomes.
• Manage project teams, delegate tasks, and oversee the quality of architectural work from concept to completion.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including developers, local authorities, and community groups, to foster strong relationships and ensure project success.
• Champion the use of advanced design technologies and sustainable building practices within the practice.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design integrity and technical accuracy.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience as a registered Architect .
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex architectural projects, particularly in commercial, residential, or regeneration sectors.
• Expertise in Revit and other 3D modelling and BIM software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• A passion for innovative design, sustainability, and the built environment.
