About the Role

Our client seeks an inspiring and experienced Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead creative vision within their fully remote design studio. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative architectural designs for a range of exciting projects, from initial brief to detailed design development. This role requires a candidate with exceptional design flair, a deep understanding of architectural principles, and the ability to guide and mentor a remote design team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present compelling architectural design concepts and masterplans to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the design development process, ensuring aesthetic coherence, functional efficiency, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with architectural technologists and project managers to translate design intent into detailed construction documentation.
• Oversee the preparation of design presentations, visualisations, and model-making.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their professional growth and design skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative projects.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage design processes effectively in a remote setting.
• Expertise in architectural design software such as SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software.
• Strong understanding of architectural history, theory, and contemporary design discourse.
• Excellent conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A degree in Architecture or a related design discipline.
