About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent Lead Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team in Bristol . This role involves leading the technical design and documentation process for a variety of exciting construction projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, specifications, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. This is a key position for an individual with strong technical expertise and leadership qualities, contributing significantly to the success of projects across the South West England region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning policies, and technical standards.
• Manage and mentor junior architectural technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical queries during the construction phase.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
