Lead Architectural Technologist - BIM Implementation

About the Role

Our client, a prominent architectural practice based in the historic city of Oxford , is seeking an experienced Lead Architectural Technologist to drive the implementation and optimisation of their BIM strategy. You will be instrumental in enhancing digital workflows, ensuring consistency, and mentoring the technical team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the practice's BIM strategy and standards.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models , ensuring data integrity and adherence to protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and training to architectural technologists and other project team members on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration of BIM data across project lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) for projects.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to BIM software and workflows, offering effective solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Architectural Technologist with a proven track record in BIM management or leadership.
• Deep expertise in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM software and related technologies (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and their application.
• Excellent technical detailing skills and a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training capabilities.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
