Lead Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Architectural Technologist to oversee technical design aspects for their upcoming projects in Milton Keynes . This leadership role involves managing a team of technologists, coordinating with external consultants, and ensuring the rigorous application of technical standards and best practices throughout the design and construction process. You will be a key contributor to project success, responsible for the accuracy and delivery of all technical documentation and ensuring projects meet client and regulatory requirements, all within a focused and professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural technology team, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Develop and coordinate detailed technical design packages, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes , standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical submissions and construction-phase documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a proven track record in a lead or senior role.
• Expert knowledge of Revit , AutoCAD, and other industry-standard architectural software.
• Deep understanding of UK construction law, building regulations, and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Architectural Technology.
