Lead Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Architectural Technologist to join their established practice in Derby . This senior role involves overseeing the technical design process, ensuring high-quality documentation and effective coordination across projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of technologists, mentoring junior staff, and liaising with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery. We are looking for a technically proficient individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical design stages of multiple architectural projects.
• Ensure all technical drawings, specifications, and schedules meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate architectural information with other disciplines, such as structural and MEP engineers.
• Mentor and develop junior Architectural Technologists and technicians.
• Oversee site implementation and resolve technical queries during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an Architectural Technologist , with proven leadership capabilities.
• Expertise in Revit and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
