About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Lead Automotive Electrician to spearhead their electrical diagnostics and repair services in Manchester . This senior role requires an expert in diagnosing and rectifying complex electrical and electronic faults across a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will be responsible for the technical accuracy and efficiency of electrical repairs, providing guidance to the team, and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair intricate electrical and electronic system faults in vehicles.
• Install and maintain automotive electrical components, including lighting, infotainment, and security systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and software for effective troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the automotive repair team.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and manufacturer standards.
• Document all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and findings accurately.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Electrician or in a similar specialized electrical role.
• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Electrical Systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in vehicle electronics , CAN bus systems, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians in electrical repairs.
