Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex embedded software for automotive applications, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of embedded software engineers, fostering their professional growth and performance.
• Define software architecture, select appropriate technologies, and guide the team through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, hardware design, and validation, to ensure seamless integration.
• Oversee the development of real-time operating systems (RTOS), drivers, and middleware for automotive ECUs.
• Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies into the development process.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of embedded software through rigorous code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively to ensure successful project completion in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role within the automotive industry .
• Extensive expertise in C/C++ programming, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, AUTOSAR, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Proven experience with software architecture design, system modeling, and requirements management tools.
• Strong knowledge of automotive functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a remote team environment.
