About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Lead Automotive Service Advisor to spearhead their service department in Manchester . This leadership role involves managing the customer service experience from vehicle intake to service completion, overseeing a team of service advisors, and ensuring exceptional communication between customers and the technical team. You will play a key part in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty, optimizing workshop scheduling, and ensuring the efficient operation of the service desk. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of automotive services, and a passion for delivering superior customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the customer service process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all clients visiting the service center.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of automotive service advisors, setting performance standards and providing ongoing coaching.
• Accurately assess customer needs, translate them into work orders, and effectively communicate repair requirements and costs.
• Coordinate with the workshop manager and technicians to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion of services.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, resolving issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor , with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes, terminology, and common vehicle issues.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with service management software and standard office applications.
