Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and testing of automotive software.
- Define and drive the technical architecture and strategy for new software projects and features.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in software engineering, including code quality, security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with product management, hardware engineering, and quality assurance teams in a remote setting.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development, with a significant focus on the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated experience in a lead or senior engineering role, managing technical projects and teams.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java, and familiarity with embedded systems.
- Experience with automotive software standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) and protocols is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to lead and motivate a remote workforce.
