About the Role
Our client is searching for an experienced and visionary Lead Automotive Systems Architect to spearhead the design of complex vehicle electronic architectures. This is a fully remote position where you will define the technical strategy and roadmap for automotive systems, ensuring seamless integration of diverse components and software. You will lead a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Define and document the overall architecture for next-generation automotive electronic systems and ECUs.
- Lead the technical design and development of vehicle network strategies (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and communication protocols.
- Collaborate with product management, software development, and hardware engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of systems architects and engineers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose their integration into future vehicle architectures.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive electronics and systems engineering, with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
- Deep understanding of automotive E/E architectures, distributed systems, and embedded software.
- Proven experience with AUTOSAR, cybersecurity principles in automotive, and functional safety (ISO 26262).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
