About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Lead Aviation Quality Assurance Manager to manage their remote quality assurance operations. This position is vital for upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance across all aviation-related products and services. You will lead a team of QA professionals, develop and implement robust quality management systems, and conduct rigorous audits to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote work while maintaining critical oversight of quality standards within a leading aviation organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) .
- Lead and mentor the aviation quality assurance team, assigning tasks and overseeing performance.
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., EASA Part 21, AS9100).
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee the quality control processes for manufacturing, maintenance, and operational activities.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and customer representatives on quality matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Extensive knowledge of aviation quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing QMS and audit programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or Aviation.
