Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement high-integrity avionics software for safety-critical systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
• Define software requirements, coding standards, and testing procedures in accordance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate closely with systems engineers and hardware developers in a remote setting to ensure seamless integration.
• Oversee the testing, verification, and validation of software components and systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 5 years focused on avionics software .
• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams and projects.
• In-depth knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and safety-critical software standards (e.g., DO-178C).
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with embedded development tools and debugging techniques.
• Experience working effectively in a remote, distributed team environment .
