About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of microservices using modern backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
• Mentor and guide a team of backend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver features efficiently.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, code review processes, and testing strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development , with a significant portion in lead or architect roles.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures at scale.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and messaging queues.
• Expertise in at least one major backend programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for a remote setting.
