Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs using modern technologies.

• Mentor and guide junior and senior backend developers, providing technical leadership and conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Contribute to the evolution of our development processes, promoting best practices in areas like CI/CD, testing, and code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend development , with a proven track record in leading development teams.
• Expertise in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go) and associated frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in Oxford .
