About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking architectural firm in Coventry , is seeking an accomplished Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their Building Information Modelling initiatives. This senior position involves setting the BIM strategy, establishing protocols, and ensuring the effective implementation of BIM across all projects to enhance design quality, efficiency, and collaboration. You will play a crucial role in driving technological innovation within the practice, mentoring a team of BIM specialists, and ensuring that cutting-edge digital construction methodologies are embedded in the company's workflow. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's BIM strategy , standards, and workflows for all architectural projects.
- Lead and mentor the BIM team, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Oversee the creation, management, and quality control of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure successful BIM execution.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and digital construction tools, integrating them where beneficial.
- Ensure compliance with industry BIM standards and client requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA or equivalent) with extensive experience.
- Proven track record in leading BIM implementation and management on complex projects.
- Expert knowledge of Revit and the wider Autodesk BIM suite, including Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in training and mentoring teams on BIM software and workflows.
