About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead BIM Coordinator to drive the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across their projects. As a fully remote team member, you will be crucial in establishing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and protocols, ensuring efficient collaboration and data management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans (BEPs) and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Coordinate and manage the creation and delivery of BIM models from design through to construction phases.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, ensuring effective use of BIM data.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry trends, recommending advancements where appropriate.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role, with a strong track record in managing BIM projects.
- Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri Model Checker.
- Solid understanding of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and UK BIM Framework requirements.
- Experience in developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
