About the Role
Our client seeks a highly experienced and motivated Lead BIM Coordinator to spearhead their Building Information Modeling efforts for diverse architectural projects. Operating within a fully remote structure, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing BIM standards, managing model development, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. This role is crucial for driving efficiency and quality in our design and construction processes. The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise in BIM software and a proven track record of managing complex information models in a virtual environment. You will play a key role in shaping our digital strategy and promoting best practices throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of high-quality BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Coordinate and clash-detect models from various consultants, resolving discrepancies and ensuring design integrity.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Champion the adoption of advanced BIM technologies and methodologies within a remote setting.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate BIM progress and deliverables effectively.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in BIM coordination and management across large-scale projects.
- Expertise in industry-standard BIM software such as Revit , Navisworks, and Solibri.
- Strong understanding of COBie, Level of Development (LOD), and international BIM standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote collaborative setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
