About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and visionary Lead Bioinformatician to direct their genomics analysis efforts in Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable computational pipelines for next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in bioinformatics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Expertise in analyzing large-scale genomic datasets (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and shell scripting.
