About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead CFD Engineer to join their globally distributed team, operating entirely on a remote basis. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for diverse applications, including aerodynamics, thermal management, and multiphase flows.
- Develop and optimize CFD methodologies, meshing strategies, and post-processing techniques.
- Manage simulation projects, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and insightful results.
- Collaborate closely with design and R&D teams to interpret simulation outcomes and inform design decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior CFD engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in CFD software and numerical methods.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in CFD analysis , with a strong background in leading simulation projects.
- Expertise in commercial CFD software packages (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+).
- Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, turbulence modeling, and numerical methods.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on fluid dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
