Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and optimisation of novel chemical processes, focusing on sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and risk assessments for new process initiatives.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a remote team of chemical engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and process improvements, ensuring successful integration and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including P&IDs, operating manuals, and safety procedures.
• Act as a key liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Requirements

• BEng/MEng or equivalent in Chemical Engineering .
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in chemical process design, development, and project management.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects in a remote setting.
• Extensive knowledge of process safety regulations and best practices, including COMAH compliance.
• Expertise in process simulation, modelling, and data analytics software.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams effectively in a virtual environment.
