Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of chemical engineers, overseeing project execution and performance management.
- Develop and refine complex chemical processes, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new process equipment and plant modifications.
- Conduct rigorous process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement robust safety protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, lean manufacturing principles, and advanced process control strategies.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to facilitate the transition of new products and technologies from lab to commercial scale.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in process design, scale-up, and operational support in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects.
- In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, separation processes, and control systems.
- Expertise in process safety regulations and best practices, including HAZOP and LOPA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement.
