Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of complex chemical processes, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and economic viability.
- Manage and mentor a team of chemical engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Oversee process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure robust safety measures are integrated into all designs.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other disciplines to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and review technical specifications, P&IDs, PFDs, and other critical process documentation.
- Drive innovation in process technology, seeking out and implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering .
- 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical process design, development, and project execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, UniSim) and process safety analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of scale-up principles, reaction kinetics, and thermodynamics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, suited for a fully remote work environment.
