About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their prestigious team in Belfast . This senior role involves taking ownership of major infrastructure projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and successful project delivery. You will lead a team of civil engineers, providing mentorship and technical direction, and play a key part in shaping the future development of infrastructure in Northern Ireland . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and supervision of infrastructure projects, including road networks, drainage systems, and utilities.
- Manage project teams, resource allocation, and delivery schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses for new development proposals.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental legislation.
Requirements
- Honours degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience (8+ years) in managing and delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng, MICE) is essential.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage).
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
