About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Cloud Architect to spearhead their cloud strategy from a fully remote position. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure to support our business objectives. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and best practices, coupled with the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies.
- Lead the migration of existing applications and services to the cloud.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and operations teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance performance and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with security regulations and industry standards within the cloud environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar senior cloud engineering role.
- Extensive knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS , Azure, GCP) and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS, GKE).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles , CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
