About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Cloud Engineer to guide their cloud infrastructure strategy and operations in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure the security, compliance, and performance of cloud environments through rigorous monitoring and optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Automate operational tasks and deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with software development teams to define cloud requirements and facilitate efficient application deployment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations, with a focus on at least one major cloud provider.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies for automated deployments.
• Understanding of network security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance frameworks within cloud environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive technical initiatives.
