About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to spearhead their cloud infrastructure initiatives. This fully remote position is critical in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You will be instrumental in defining cloud strategy, automating deployments, and ensuring the reliability of our client's cloud-based services. Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud environments through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering best practices and driving technical excellence.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or cloud engineering .
- Proven expertise in designing and managing complex cloud architectures.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for a remote role .
