About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cloud Engineer to spearhead their cloud infrastructure initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions that support our client's growing digital footprint. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in cloud technologies and a passion for automation and infrastructure as code. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our client's cloud strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure the security, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of cloud environments.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud resource utilization and performance.

Requirements

Extensive experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure management.
Proven expertise with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools .
Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
