Lead Cloud Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead their cloud strategy and implementation efforts in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with business objectives. You will act as a key technical advisor, providing expertise and leadership across cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
• Lead the migration of existing on-premises applications and services to the cloud.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers and other technical staff.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and software development, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
