Lead Curriculum Developer - STEM

About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly experienced Lead Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM education to drive the creation of engaging and effective learning materials for their global online platform. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative STEM curricula that align with international standards and cater to diverse learning needs. This role demands a blend of pedagogical expertise, project management acumen, and a deep understanding of STEM disciplines. As a remote position, you'll collaborate with a distributed team of educators, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to build the next generation of STEM learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of comprehensive STEM curricula for various age groups and learning levels.
• Manage a team of curriculum designers and subject matter experts, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
• Collaborate with educators to pilot, evaluate, and refine curriculum materials based on feedback and learning outcomes.
• Ensure curriculum content is aligned with relevant national and international educational standards and assessment frameworks.
• Integrate innovative teaching methodologies, interactive elements, and digital tools into curriculum design.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in STEM education and educational technology.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in a STEM field, Education, or Curriculum Development.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in developing STEM curricula, particularly for online or blended learning environments.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in educational technology tools and learning management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
