About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for large volumes of data.
• Implement and manage big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on big data technologies.
• Proven expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines and managing data warehousing solutions.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed systems.
• Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
