Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms for predictive analytics, risk assessment, and customer segmentation.
- Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources for analysis.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify data-driven opportunities and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, and explore their application to our business challenges.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead projects effectively.
