Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated machine learning models and AI solutions for financial applications.
- Develop and implement robust data pipelines and analytical frameworks to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Mentor and manage a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into data science solutions and integrate them into production systems.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimental design to evaluate model performance and business impact.
- Stay at the forefront of data science and machine learning research, identifying and championing new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in data science, with significant experience in machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Proven experience leading data science teams and managing projects from conception to completion.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
