Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and translate business needs into data science projects.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure high performance and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and data science, and champion their adoption.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure the ethical and responsible use of data and AI models.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a significant focus on machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Proven experience leading data science projects and mentoring team members.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R , and proficiency with ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, predictive modeling, and various machine learning techniques (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
