About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in developing and implementing machine learning models.
• Design and execute end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to model deployment and monitoring.
• Develop, train, and evaluate predictive models for areas such as customer behavior, risk assessment, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science problems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and apply them to business challenges.
• Communicate complex analytical results and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in data science, with a significant focus on machine learning.
• Proven experience in leading data science teams and managing project lifecycles.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R, including relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is highly desirable.
