Lead Data Scientist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions.
• Lead a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and project oversight.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities addressable through data analysis.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Present complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data used for analysis and modeling.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in data science, including leading complex projects and teams.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning , and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with data visualization tools.
