Lead DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their infrastructure and operations team in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS .
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions for optimal uptime.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the security and compliance of all infrastructure components.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS , including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
