About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their infrastructure and deployment strategies. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring and incident response.
- Automate operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
- Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer , with a proven track record of leading infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
