About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives in Coventry . You will play a crucial role in building, deploying, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in production.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a DevOps Engineer role, with proven experience in a lead capacity.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef .
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes .
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
