Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of digital artists, providing artistic direction and technical guidance for virtual production projects.
• Develop and maintain high-quality digital assets, including 3D environments, characters, and props, ensuring visual fidelity and performance optimization.
• Establish and enforce artistic pipelines and best practices for asset creation and integration into real-time engines.
• Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, and virtual production supervisors to achieve the desired visual outcomes.
• Oversee asset optimization for real-time rendering and ensure seamless integration into the virtual production pipeline.
• Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to the art team to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience (6+ years) as a Digital Artist, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within virtual production or related fields (VFX, games).
• Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering pipelines and optimization techniques.
• Excellent artistic eye and a keen sense of composition, lighting, and color theory.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a remote artistic team effectively.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing high-end digital art for interactive or real-time applications is mandatory.
