Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive drilling programs and execution plans, considering safety, environmental, and economic factors.
• Supervise and manage drilling operations, including well planning, equipment selection, and logistics.
• Perform wellbore integrity assessments and risk management analysis for drilling hazards.
• Optimize drilling performance, reduce non-productive time (NPT), and manage operational budgets.
• Liaise with drilling contractors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior drilling engineers and field staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in drilling engineering, with significant exposure to deepwater or complex unconventional wells.
• Demonstrated expertise in drilling fluids, cementation, well control, and directional drilling.
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency in drilling simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills for remote operations.
