About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Electrical Design Engineer to spearhead electrical system design efforts for groundbreaking projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, from initial concept through to final implementation and validation.
- Oversee and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance, setting project priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics, board layouts, and system architecture documentation for a variety of sophisticated applications.
- Collaborate closely with product management, hardware, and software teams to define system requirements and ensure successful product integration.
- Perform rigorous design reviews, simulations, and component selection to optimize performance, cost, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 8 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Extensive experience with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Allegro) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, HyperLynx).
- Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a remote engineering team effectively.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
