Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for grid-connected energy projects, including substations and distribution networks.
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and single-line diagrams for electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee the tendering and procurement process for electrical equipment and services.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international electrical standards (e.g., BS 7671, IEC).
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and support site commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (8+ years) as an Electrical Engineer, with a significant focus on grid connections and power systems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing technical projects.
• In-depth knowledge of high voltage (HV) and extra-high voltage (EHV) systems and protection schemes.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
