About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrical Engineer to manage and direct electrical engineering operations within the industrial sector in Bradford . This leadership role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in the design, installation, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal uptime and reliability of electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee electrical safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage electrical engineering projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience (8+ years) in industrial electrical engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial power systems, motor controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in relevant electrical design software and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with safety management systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., HSE, ATEX).
