Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of novel power electronics converters, inverters, and associated control systems.
- Oversee the selection of components, thermal management strategies, and circuit topologies for optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct detailed simulations, analyses, and experimental testing of power electronic designs.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for R&D initiatives within the power electronics domain.
- Mentor and guide a team of electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers and mechanical designers, to ensure integrated product development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power electronics.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in the design and development of high-performance power electronic systems.
- In-depth knowledge of wide-bandgap semiconductor devices (SiC, GaN) and their applications.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and power electronics design software.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing R&D projects and teams.
- Familiarity with international standards for power electronics design and safety.
