About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis, serving projects across the UK, with a key focus on clients in and around Milton Keynes . This senior position will involve leading electrical design and development efforts for diverse projects, offering expert technical direction and strategic oversight. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical aspects of projects from conception through to completion, working with a distributed team of professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the electrical design and engineering process for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide expert technical leadership and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers working remotely.
- Oversee the creation of detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to electrical engineering tasks.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant experience (7+ years) in electrical engineering, with demonstrable leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in power systems design , distribution, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using advanced ECAD software and simulation tools.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively in a remote working environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
