Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead their electrical engineering initiatives in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for major projects, ensuring compliance with all technical and safety standards.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and detailed design through to commissioning and handover.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and expectations managed.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for all electrical engineering activities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expertise in power systems, control systems, instrumentation, and high-voltage equipment .
- Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site presence with remote collaboration.
