Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of electrical systems, including power distribution, protection, and control systems.
• Oversee the execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies to ensure asset integrity and reliability.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and technical audits of electrical installations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international electrical codes and standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in power systems analysis, protection schemes, and high-voltage equipment.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP).
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Experience with renewable energy projects is a significant advantage for this role in Edinburgh .
