Lead Electrical Engineer

We’re working with a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of electrical design across complex, high-spec equipment, while leading and developing a team of engineers. You’ll play a key role in driving technical standards, ensuring compliance, and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Electrical Engineers
• Own electrical design and technical delivery across projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and industry standards
• Drive best practice, standardisation, and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in electrical design within a manufacturing or defence environment
• Experience working with complex, regulated systems
• Proven ability to lead or mentor engineers
• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
