About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead their electrical engineering initiatives in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for new product launches and upgrades.
• Provide expert technical direction and oversight to a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets for electrical engineering work packages.
• Conduct thorough design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, and R&D departments to ensure seamless product realization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership or senior role.
• Extensive knowledge of power electronics , control systems, and embedded systems design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and simulation tools, including Altium Designer or similar.
• Strong understanding of UK electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
